Britain’s Crown Prince William (43) and his wife Kate (43) will move to a new home in Windsor with their three children later this year. They hope to leave the bad memories of the past year, including Kate’s cancer treatment, behind them.
It’s noteworthy that the couple paid for their new home themselves, and they are also responsible for the renovations.
Later this year, they will close the doors of their ‘Adelaide Cottage’ in Windsor for the last time, as Britain’s Crown Prince William and his wife Kate will move into ‘Forest Lodge’ a little further along in Windsor.
The couple, along with their three children, George, Charlotte, and Louis, hope to make a fresh start after Kate’s cancer treatment . She has been in remission since January, but she has already spoken openly about the difficulties she experienced during and after chemotherapy.
In 2022, they moved to Windsor, wanting a quieter place to live. The peace and quiet of the countryside clearly appeal to them, as they have no intention of returning to a grand palace, not even when William becomes king.
“Windsor is their home, but it has been a challenging few months for the family. Moving gives them the opportunity to start a new chapter and leave the bad memories behind,” a royal source told the BBC.
